Dr. Passmore joined North Texas Eye Center in 2001. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Passmore earned his Medical Doctorate at Baylor College of Medicine and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in physics. Dr. Passmore served as a flight surgeon and was active in the United States Army for two years before serving as a community leader in the ophthalmology field. He has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology, Dallas County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Passmore has practiced in the Dallas area since 1975. Dr. Passmore previous trained and supervised residents in cataract surgery as Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern. He and his wife Malinda enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren, listening to music and caring for their horses.
