Dr. Ngo joined North Texas Eye Center in 2015 after completing her ophthalmology residency at Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock. During her time in Arkansas, the Eye Institute awarded her the chief resident of the year honor. Dr. Ngo earned her Medical Doctorate at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. She graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a concentration in Immunology and Pathology. She has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ngo is a published author with contributions in multiple journals such as Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology and the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. She has a particular interested in cataract surgery and treatment of various retinal disease. She and her husband, David, enjoy creating experiences with their two young children and two golden doodles. Her hobbies include running, traveling, and exploring nature.
